Seeking creative producer and new performer for our show!

Here at Water is Attracted to Water, we are excited to announce opportunities for two new collaborators: a creative producer to help us shape our final rehearsals and tour and a new performer for our theatre show.


Performer

We are seeking an experienced performer to join us in the final development and rehearsal phase, leading to premiere and tour of Water is Attracted to Water. The role is semi-fictional which means working within already established material, but being invited to bring your relationship with water to the process where possible.


Skills and experience:

  • playfulness;

  • improvisation, workshopping and devising;

  • movement work or physical theatre;

  • capacity for emotionally engaged performance within the context of non/semi-fictional work;

  • workshop facilitation experience desirable.

You will be replacing Greek actress Alexia Beziki. Greek nationality or language are not necessary. However, retaining cultural diversity within the cast is important for the range of perspectives in the text. There is no age or gender preference for the role.

Creative producer

We are seeking a creative producer to support us in tour development and project management.


You will be:

● a creative producer who works independently and is excellent at time management;

● a creative and strategic thinker with excellent communication skills;

● capable of working remotely and occasionally in person in Manchester or Edinburgh if

needed in second phase (travel expenses covered);
